Valkyrie

Valkyrie (2008) follows Colonel Claus von Stauffenberg and a group of German officers who attempt to overthrow Adolf Hitler during World War II. After becoming increasingly opposed to the Nazi regime, Stauffenberg helps modify Operation Valkyrie, an emergency plan originally intended to maintain order during a crisis. The conspirators intend to use the plan to seize control of Berlin after Hitler's assassination and establish a new government. The film focuses on their planning, secrecy, coordination, and the increasingly dangerous circumstances surrounding the conspiracy. As the operation unfolds, delays, mistakes, and uncertainty threaten the plot, culminating in the failed attempt of July 20, 1944.
