The analysis attempts to use Socionics concepts, but some theoretical applications are questionable, particularly regarding the Ego and Id blocks, and the interpretation of normative Te/Fe. While it connects many of Light's actions to EIE traits, the bridging between specific evidence and theoretical functions is often asserted rather than clearly demonstrated. The handling of counterevidence, especially regarding LSI, is weak and relies on broad generalizations. To improve, the analysis needs to provide more precise theoretical definitions and stronger, more direct links between Light's specific behaviors and the functions, while also robustly addressing alternative typings with detailed comparative reasoning.
I actually think the EIE argument is much stronger than the usual LSI/LIE readings give it credit for. The important distinction is that Light's Te and strategic calculation don't necessarily make Te his leading function. He can use Te pragmatically while his broader motivation is still Fe-Ni: creating a grand vision for society and then organizing people and events around that vision. The point about his boredom with routine also helps, especially when contrasted with his father. Light isn't satisfied with simply maintaining an existing order; he wants to radically redefine what society should become. His manipulation of people's attitudes, his fixation on a collective vision of justice, and his willingness to adapt his interpersonal stance depending on what his larger plan requires all make Fe-Ni a plausible core. I also like the Light-Mikami comparison here because it gives the typing something more concrete than "he's strategic, therefore LSI." If anything, the argument against LSI should focus on the lack of strong Ti-Se as a defining axis rather than Light's intelligence. This would be a good one for the Typology Atlas Debate Chamber, too. The AI vet can score the competing arguments against the same rubric, which makes it easier to see whether an LSI or EIE case is actually supported by evidence rather than just familiar stereotypes.
